People Can Not Join

I have a test site made up at sparkwithin.org . The site can be accessed, but once you fill out the secondary part - the part that follows, asking for date of birth etc, nothing happens when 'Join' is hit.

I thought perhaps it was because the user did not add a profile image (though there was not asterisk for it denoting mandatory) so tried with profile image but it does not even indicate anything is being uploaded.

The only thing I can think is maybe the image IS necessary, and join can not be complete without? When trying to upload a log, as suggested in the 'Initiall Steps' I got  this when I hit upload:

Well, guessing that the problem is - even though Softaculous installs it on shared hosting running only 5.4 php that it's not enough. If Im incorrect, feel free to correct me. 

try doing a manual upload and install - dont use the softaculous auto installer - see if that helps. Second - it is possible that something on the first page was not filled out properly and since you are on the second page - you can not see the red asterisk notifying you what field is not correct (ie the profile image). What you can do is move all of the profile fields over to one section - having a single page form - and then you can see which fields are not right.

The problem is you need to compile/build/add the fileinfo module in php then restart apache...  

if you are on shared hosting then you need to ask the host provider to rebuild apache with fileinfo.
