Photo's

1. A photo upload does it get processed somehow?  A) If a picture has metadata is it stripped or does it stay after the #1 is done? b) Does it change the type photo it was I.E. a jpg to a gif?
2. Where are they located? After as I see they have an media ID but I want to see the actual location of the picture?
3. If it strips the meta data is there a way to turn that off?
4. As you all know I am sure LOCATION is very cool attached to a picture and if the metadata is stripped then so goes the Location aspect I think even though many have separated the meta data and called it location....
