Photos Videos Audio "internal error or misconfiguration"

Dolphin 7.0.6 site in dedicated HostforWeb

The site was running fine and then suddenly the Photos, Videos, Audio, Events and even some modules pages are showing an error message.

.../m/sounds/home/
../m/events/home/

Here is the error message.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@....................com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

This is not a new installation. The site has been around for years.
The members page, emails, forums, profile info etc all work fine.

It's only certain modules like....photos, videos, audio, events etc...that show the error message.

I can access these modules in the admin though.

I did notice that ffmpeg.exe permission was set to 644 instead of 755 for some reason.

I set it to 755 but no changes yet.
I am also curious how ffmpeg.ext permission got switched to 644.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

Check the permissions of your files and directories. It's possible this is causing the errors.

It appears to be occuring only on section of the site that use the m permalink. Most likley a problem in the modules folder. A problem with the index.php file that there, or a .htaccess file was placed there that should no be there.

No. That's not the issue. dolphin_jay just fixed mine. It's an issue with a mis-configured file in a recent Cpanel upgrade on HFW.

Lately, HFW has gotten really bad about their support. After 2 days of messing with them, I had to get outside help to fix all kinds of permission errors I had after a simple backup restore process I was trying to complete. The error you are experiencing does not happen to everyone right? just a few?

I'm not exactly sure what the file issue was. Maybe I can get him to make a post here about it.
