I have a issue where when really large images are uploaded by users they will not shrink to fit the 'photo unit' when viewing!!
The images will break out over the set area ?!
Any ideas how I can stop this happening ? From what I can tell the admin settings for photos do not solve issue ....

That is strange. Dolphin has a resize setting in the admin. You set how large you want the resized images to be. Dolphin creates three images, a thumbnail, a resized image, and the original. It sounds like it is not resizing the images. Try setting a value in admin even though a value is there and hit save. Perhaps the resize parameters are not set in the database. You can look in the database and see but I don't know the table. Geeks, making the world a better place |

You can see my issue above ^^^ .... I have tried to change the settings via admin panel and it don't seem to stop large images over lapping the set area?!

settings will only apply to new uploaded photos, what you can do is increase the left column

humm ... ok maybe this why then, I have not tested with new large images! I was expecting all current large images to get smaller which was not the case.
I don't want to increase column size ...
Thanks for help :)

resizing is taken place when photo is uploaded so making changes in the settings won't re-size photos that are already uploaded |
ok thanks for heads-up! is there a way I can make all current large images reduce size ? DedicatedServer4You.com -- BIGGEST Range of Dedicated Servers at the Lowest Price! |
possible yes,but not easy |
Yes, there is a way to resize the current images in the directory; however, you need some programming skill with php and the use of class.upload.php; that is one sweet class by the way.

Then there is the manual way of finding the image, download it, resize it, and then up it again. Geeks, making the world a better place |
