Hi, i did setup a test store with some pictures to see how it works, but all the pictures of the each of the 5 items i put on the store have disappeared, the empty space left from the picture is showing an address as this: http://www.myhost.com/m/store/view/item_name_here
I did try to locate this folder named "m" on the Dolphin folder, but i cannot locate it.
The folder containing ALL the pictures for these items on the store are in "modules/boonex/photos/data/files".
I couldn't find a solution to this, when browsing the forum i found a very similar past issue with disappearing avatars and that was a bug which is been fixed from the developers apparently....or just moved to the store module?
Any help/suggestion is appreciated, thanks

A funny thing is that Dolphin is actually creating something like 3 or 4 copies of each photos i upload....and i can't use any! Ohh dear |

There is no folder named m and there is not suppose to be.
That is called a friendly URL or permalink. It's rewritten by the webserver to point to the proper location.
I suspect your .htaccess rewrites are not functioning.
I also suspect you have other symptoms of this that you're not noticing. Go through the entire site, not just the store. Check all links on the menu that lead to a module page and also see if you can view profiles.
I would look at your site to see if my suspicions are correct, but you did not provide a URL, so i can't.

Yes that was correct, more problems where here and there, namely, the "Store" tab i put on the main menu changed his location and also i could not see any of my pictures anymore.
I believe all my problems originated from the fact that i edited the language file where it says "Welcome to the community!" and i wrote something different , i never thought that by just changing those few words it could mess up so badly with all the rest!
Now i went in Admin>>Tools>>Modules and i selected all installed modules, then i clicked on " Recompile Languages" and all the pictures appeared again.......and with them that ugly "Welcome to the community!" again....there is no way to at least take it complitely off without messing up with the rest of the website???
Thanks

You edited the lang file directly? The one in the lang folder? If so, then that is not how you edit language keys. That is a cache file. It is not to be modified by hand.
Edit the language keys in admin in the languages section.

Ohh and i forgot to mention that the website is only accessible from the LAN, i am providing free wireless internet access to all my neighbours, i know i can change that to being accessible ONLY from the web (thanks again Newton :))), but if i have to choose between the 2 i prefere to keep the LAN only access, unless untill both options will be available at the same time. |

Yes, i had to do that because it was the only possible way i could modify the language, i try a million times to upload a new language file from the dedicated interface but it keep coming up with an error message that say it could not load up the new language file, this work around made possible changing the language file but created a mess in other places....
