I'm a newbie and am playing around with predefined lists. I didn't see anything in the manuals or after Google search, so I'm asking here. The people who will be using my site will not always fit into the Male and Female categories from the #!Sex predefined list. I added the other options such as Transgender to Male and Female, and noticed that in some places, D7 displays Man and Woman instead of Male and Female like I see in the predefined list.
1. Where does the translation happen and does it affect any of the search capabilities?
2. What does the underscore mean in the predefined list? I saw some items in the #!Sex list that says _Male for example.
