Predefined Values

Hi

After several faild attempts in the past to get Dolphin working on my server, I have just donloaded the latest version and installed without any problems

After installing, I see that quite a few things have changed so I am a little confused about making a couple of changes.

In Admin/Settings/Predefined Values..... I want to set the "sex" values in the following way.....

I understand the 'Value' ie Straight Couple, but I do not understand the 'LKey' and 'LKey2' etc

They way I wish to set it up is 'X' Looking for X. X looking for XX. X looking for XXX etc

When I first looked, in the 'LKey' it said _female. in 'LKey2' _LookinM. When I attempted to creat a test profile this is how it was shown with the _Lookin

Can anyone please explain how to enter the 'Values correctly.

After hours of trial and error I have managed to work it all out.

PLEASE, for the sake of those who have never tied Dolphin before

can we please have a more detailed user manual.

Well two years later and its still quite a search to find any info on how Predefined Values works in D7.02

Any clues much appreciated.

The lack of documentation in most areas of Admin is sort of okay when trial and error, persistance, and an assumtion that the thing has been designed to be useable - all add up to the possibility that an intelligent newbie might have a fighting chance... However throwing in arcane terminology and controls that have to be matched up in different sections of Admin in order to get anywhere is really below acceptability.

And as for the page that the Help button on the top menu of D7 takes you to... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haha ha ha ha ha ha ha haha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ....

Ah thank God for MrPowless - I think I would have given up on Dolphin by now if not for him
This is a 6.1 tutorial but now I at least have the basics of what Predefined Values are and how to use them!
