Privacy access

Hello,

i would like to have my site very private on invitation only.

I check invitation only but we still have the top menu navigation and people can see member and photo etc...

Can you tell me the best way to have my site not accessible only after request of new users ?

Best regards and thank you in advance

You can use the builders and go to the navigation menu and you click on each item and you will see a checkbox for guest and members, uncheck the guest one.  The other thing you need to do is to use the PAGE ACCESS CONTROL module that comes with Boonex; install it if you have not already done so.  That will allow you to control menu access and pages and page blocks.  You need to do a bit of reading as I have just gave a general outline.

There is the contact.php script.  See the footer for "Contact Us"  You could clone that and work with it to create a "I wish to join" form.  I am not sure about the attachment part of that (sending photos); you would have to add that bit on.  There are free open-source contact scripts that come ready with attachments; you could find one of them and incorporate it into your site as well.

The one I use is formmail.php available from http://www.tectite.com/, you do have to be careful as they want to sell you services; the script is free and if you can configure it yourself; which if one can work with Dolphin they can, and not have to pay anything to use the script.  It is a nice script with lots of features including spam protection.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
