Prob with writing blogs, messages etc.

Hi,

I have some users complaining that they cannot write blogs, messages or group posts because the cursor does not show up in the main text input field and no text shows up when they write.

I am sure this is a problem on the client side, but it seems quite a few are having it - myself included.

Do any of you perhaps have a sollution to this problem, something I can tell my users to do to correct it or maybe something I can do myself?

Thanks!

They are not the only one :)
I have the same in version 6.1.6, but if I use the html option I can write, if you save this then editing is no problem.

I must use the html option also but it's not always an option. It appears the problem is in Firefox but not IE7. I abhor IE7 but am about to change my mind as I've had to disable Google's toolbar in Firefox for some of the features to work in Dolphin 6.1.6. I don't like that but it's worth it. I only know of killerhaai's option and changing browsers.

I have test tis out in all my browsers I have, but only firefox has this problem. If you test it, write some texts in that field, but you see norhing, click on the html option in tiny-mce then you will see that the text is there. If you save this html, then you will  see it in the editing screen en you can normal edit it further.

IE I don't use or have it so this is not tested.
