Problem uploding picture greater than 0.5m

Hy,

I am geting error when I try to upload picture greater than 0.5Mb. I gett message:


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 255 bytes) in /mounted-storage/home50a/sub001/sc30815-HYPJ/www/inc/images.inc.php on line 134

I have other sites with diferent scripts on that server, and I have no problem uploading greater images there.

hi, i have the same problem and have not been able to fix it. if you ever find out how to fix this please do let me know as well or if anyone else knows please pass on the fix tip. thank you.

File upload limit needs to be increased.  This is normally done in the php.ini file, if you don't have root access then open a support ticket with your host and ask them to do it.

Hi there. Well, ordinarily I'd agree with you, but he said:

"I have other sites with diferent scripts on that server, and I have no problem uploading greater images there."

... and that would indicate that the server i.e. php.ini settings are not to blame. If he's got larger images working on other scripts with the same server, then in theory those same larger images should work fine with dolphin too. Sorry that I don't have an actual solution though ...

If the server has a partition then it would be the php.ini file on this specific sites side of the partition or possibly those sites have had .htaccess adjustments made to override the base php.ini settings in which case he will need to do it with this one also.
