Problem with D7 v5 albums

Any album functions takes me to a 'View profile' screen and states:

Profile not available for view

This is for photos, sounds and videos.

Is it not fully functional?

This sounds like a url rewrite problem.  You sure all your .htaccess files are intact?

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

I will check.  I just re-uploaded a fresh install of d7v5 - would assume it is.

doesn't seem to make a difference with the new .htaccess file.

Let me overwrite it all again and see if something got missed..

that's didn't do the trick..

any other suggestions?

You might be right - When I click on the join, it does the same thing - it jumps to 'view profile' also.

I uploaded all the files again- but no change.

I have noticed this when i visit the site.

http://d7.806social.com/

When i click on join it goes to the following location.

http://d7.806social.com/d7/join.php

Thus it is trying to display the profile for a member with the nickname of d7. The proper page is located here. http://d7.806social.com/join.php

So my guess is the path to the root of your site in header.inc is not right.

Wonder if it has something to do with being on a subdomain?

here are my header settings:

$site['ver']               = '7.0';
$site['build']             = 'beta';
$site['url']               = "http://d7.806social.com/";
$admin_dir                 = "administration";
$site['url_admin']         = "{$site['url']}$admin_dir/";

$dir['root']               = "/home/vande113/public_html/d7/";

All looks okay

Is your site in that d7 subdirectory? or in the root of public_html?

d7 is in the root of public_html. When I add a 'subdomain' it is based on the root, intead of a dir in the base of 806social.

I didn't answer that correctly - it is in d7..  not the root

the 'acccount' link works in the menu bar - it takes me to the registration screen.

I think this is a bug ;-)

try to add the following line in your .htaccess file:

RewriteBase /

just after:

RewriteEngine on

It seems that you installed dolphin on different domain, then you moved site to another domain, and changed configuration settings in header.inc.php file, but cache files stored old info, I have cleaned cache files and everything looks good now.

Worked like a charm.  I installed the new beta on top of the old beta, which left the old files.

Notice there was a change in some directories also, such as admin to administation

hopefully, the next beta will be an upgrade rather than a new install. THanks for fixing it!
