Problem with languages...

Hi,

I look for similar problems in the forum before posting but didn't found anything, so sorry if this already been posted.

I've tryed to install a new language and now I have strange designations in menus (check example image below).

oh i am afraid your database lang key table is damaged. Did you tried to install many modules at the same time?

No, I didn't installed any modules... Just tried to install my new language... Embarassed

I just downloaded the lang file, deleted the remote lang file, then reuploaded it. Same with the lang file under inc folder. This might be dangerous..but it magically worked for me.

 what are you using for translation to the portugese language, because that seems to be causing a fuss with the english lang.

 so yes, i think the suggestion is correct to upload the lang file, then recompile once you get the eng lang compiled, back everything up before you try to compile the portugese lang again.
