Problem with spacer.gif

What determines which picture is used when spacer.gif is referenced?

Here is my code:

div class="friends_thumb_1"
div class="thumbnail_block" style="float: none;"
div class="thumbnail_block" style="float: none;"

img alt="" style="margin: 0px 5px 10px; width: 110px; height: 110px; background-image: url(http://www.___.com/templates/base/images/icons/spacer.gif);" src="http://www.____.com/templates/base/images/icons/spacer.gif"/

How can I control what graphic is used in this spot?  Or how can eliminate this picture entirely from showing up?

Anyone know how I can fix this?  When I replace the spacer.gif file it replaces every profile photo on my site?

Just want to replace the friend image . . .

Can't figure out how to crack this code.

The idea behind spacer.gif is to prevent the images from being stolen with a right click.

Normally the members photo is set as a background image. And the spacer is the forground image. Like so.

<img alt="" style="margin: 0px 5px 10px; width: 110px; height: 110px; background-image: url(http://www.efriendsrock.com/media/images/profile/49/thumb_1244760886.jpg);" src="http://www.efriendsrock.com/templates/base/images/icons/spacer.gif"/>

The spacer is a tranparent gif that allows the background to show through. Thus when a user right clicks on the image, the forground is what they get. If you replace that image, it covers all your other images in the background.

Yea, i know i did not edit my links to remove my site name, but i did not bother because i don't care.
