Problems with CPanel code editor

I made changes to contacts.php file because I want to remove the boxes for "Hotlist" and "Greetings" and now there is an error with my cpanel code editor. The window doesnt show the full size (only half a page) and in the browser window is the message "error on page". Please can anyone help with this?
