Profile Customiser - Themes - How?

Hi - Im trying to understand what the Boonex Profile Customiser is and how it works.

Is anyone selling themes?

If there was a demo theme for each of these maybe I could then figure it out.

Full page

 Default box full
 Default box content
 Default box header
 Form
Any clues would be much appreciated.

I realy don't like the Profile Cistomiser from boonex i driving my members crazy and me because i have mayn people asking me how to add theme on the profiles

I have to buy a new module from Gorpus using any myspace layouts but the modules is suck

im very disappointed the module from gorpus don't accept any myspace layouts from version 2.0 like he say whe n you add the code the only thing is working is the background

So I design my own community layout and now my members are happy

Dolphin 7 Profile Customizer is working very well... and is quite powerful Smile

Logged as Admin, you can build Themes from the Admin Profile page and save them. These themes will then be available for your site's members who still can edit them...

You will also see these Themes within your Admin Panel -> Modules -> Profile Customize.
From there you can limit (delete) unwanted customizable areas or even add new.

Thanks Guys - question remains... is anyone selling themes? Or has some free ones?
Or can supply a demo?

Given a functioning css sheet I can modify it but to create one from scratch requires much much more knowlege.

Anyone at Boonex want to whip one up?
I mean either its a really simple thing to do and you could supply an example...
or its NOT a simple thing to do and you really should provide an example...
No?

I doubt of that it will help you, but I paste bellow an example of Themes which are stored in database... This is not  CSS files like templates...

Cool Michel :-)

How can we get pics of the theme into those thumbnails at shared themes?

By the way, to make all blocks and boxes Transparent just need to type Transparent without #, just if someone wants to know :-)

agree

but how my members going to know they need to add the >> transparent to make happen some people don't lnow the trick

this will be nice to add the >> transparent on each menu so they will see the transparent option and make the profile transparent

and when you add any background is not  right some times is duplicate

By the way, to make all blocks and boxes Transparent just need to type Transparent without #, just if someone wants to know :-)

I am a lazy man :-))  I make thumbnails with the picture used for the full page background and use a quite explicit Theme name (butterflies, roses, ...)

I tried to make screenshots of Themes, but, as the thumbnail is quite small, the picture was not so clear...

@ UFO360

You can edit your file modules/boonex/profile_customize/templates/base/BxProfileCustomizeTemplate.php...

For example, create a new language key _bx_profile_customize_ transparent, give it the value "Color (select or type "transparent")". Then replace the existing language key _bx_profile_customize_color with the new key in some places (IMHO this is useful for backgrounds only, I see no reason to display this new language key value for fonts or borders...).

If I'm not mistaken than you find BxProfileCustomizeTemplate.php at modules/boonex/profile_customize/classes/BxProfileCustomizeTemplate.php

Check this mod if that work for you...... http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Profile_Themes_v_1_0_0

Thanks dddolphin. Yes that mod is a possibility.
I would still like to get control over the built in Dolphin Profile Customiser though.

I guess the two big questions are -
Where does one upload a css file to?
Where is the default css file so I can see what settings are currently installed?

Actually I found this thread going back 6 months
 http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/?action=goto&topic_id=Profile-Customize-Themes-Import
that seems to indicate no-one knows what Profile Customiser is and how its supposed to work :-(

Custom look of profiles page datas are not stored in any CSS file but in your database table bx_profile_custom_main... (example some posts above)

The default look is your template.

I would love to be able to implement such a feature as an HTML/CSS box that members can go to, apply their custom codes and save it. Sort of like Myspace did and another site I know of.

My signature can beat up your signature!

Profile Customiser sounds like a great mod.
Can we please have something functional in 7.03 ?

Works fine and is easy to use once you figure it out. Drop down box at top left, simple and easy, select which field you want to eidt. Admin panel can also add fields that are allowable to edit too.
