Profile Customizer

Ok i have looked at the different threads but can find not a lot but rambling about things i can't understand. So my question is, in the modules / profile customizer  how do i make a theme or find a theme to import? is there one that is already made that I can alter or duplicate ect?

I have posted tutorials and there are numerous threads in the forums on the customiser.

Saving themes to public for others to use work.  I am not sure the importer works as of 7.1.5; it was broken and I have not worked with it lately.  I was more concern that my members could adjust numerous things on their pages than importing themes.

i kinda got it working but the thumbnails don't show up in the shared bit

Did you make sure the thumbnail was of the proper size?  I don't know if the theme save will resize the thumbnail, I think you have to have the proper size first.

ah no i didn't, but then this would make it difficult for members wouldn't it because i'm sure they would upload random images

and how do i know what size the thumbnails need to be to upload them to make them visible?

It should say in the caption that they need to be 64X64.  Of course they can be smaller than this.  If your members are creating themes, they probably have no problem using a graphic editor to create a thumbnail.  However, I suppose it would be nice if the theme creation part could create the thumbnail for the user.

ah! thank you I got it working. It was the thumb size as you said. 

I have noticed something tho, the font when its changed with the custom profile changes everywhere except on the 'About Me' mod. that remains the same as the site template. looks kinda odd

"About Me" mod; is this a custom module that adds to the profile page?  If so, it probably uses a different designbox or class/id.  You will need to do an examination to find out what to add to the profile customiser to allow this to be applied; this will be a separate condition in the fonts section.  You might want to change the code for the block to use the same as the other blocks.

no its the mod that comes with dolphin where you write a bit about yourself, you modify it in 'my profile', you know where it has name, age , sex, write a bit about you, ect

I would love this on Groups, i tried to find a mod for it but can't seem to find one

I am sure that Modzzz has the groups customiser module; I have it installed on my site

If it is one of the standard blocks on the profile page, it should have been applied to it.  Think about any changes you may have made.

Damn! I already had this in my downloads, I must have already bought it a while ago and forgot it had it, Teach me to be so butter brained won't it lol
