Profile Field Number Slider?

Is there a way to change the input method for a numerical profile field so that it's a slider? Such as, if the profile field is "Sailing" and I want the user to select a number from 0 (not interested) to 10 (very interested). Just wondering if there's a way to snag the slider code from the range type profile field and use it in the number type.

Under type on the fields builder choose range.

I don't want them to select a range, just a number... But I want them to pick that number on a slider as opposed to entering it by typing. Does that make sense?
