Profile Fields Question

I have an active item under my General Info block that is not showing up when viewing a users profile??? The item is being used under the General Info block for all field builders; Join Form, Edit Profile, View Profile, and Search Profile, for all users (i.e. Owner, Admin, Guest). Why can my users not see it?

Some blocks are not visible if they have no content in them. However if you created new blocks in the Admin Panel > Builders > Profile Fields and all looks good, I would say check to make sure they are showing by going into the 'Page Blocks' area (same location) and make sure the blocks are not in the inactive items area. You will need to check the Profile and Profile Edit pages.

Nothing to see here

The item that I need to show up is active? It used to work? Its a mulitselector that you chose your selection when you sign up or edit your profile but I want the results to show up when viewing profiles.

Not sure I understand... could you sent one (some?) images with overlaid pointer plus text to point out and explain what is or is not happening?

I do the best I can to illustrate this problem, which is extremely frustrating! The first image is of the website as viewed by members. The "General Info" section does not display the information that the users would have selected upon signup?? The second image is of the backend of the site on the Profile Fields under "Builders". You will see the item I created with the multiselector under the General block. The last image is of the Item I created listed under the View Profile section of Fields Builder. It is listed under the General Block but is not showing up when viewing the website. It worked at one time which is why this is sooo frustrating. Please any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Try putting the item under "Visitor".  Otherwise members can only see their own version of the "item" info.  By placing it in "Visitor" others can see it to.

The term "Visitor" is a bit confusing but, in this case, blocking the public (non-members) from viewing the item info is done through other admin settings.

For whatever it may be worth... I share your frustration with Dolphin... but I experienced similar degrees of frustration with Drupal and Joomla.  I took me many many hours of trial and error ("try, test, learn")  before I got enough of a foundation to *begin* to feel like I was understanding the basic setup for each of them.

I just did that and it still does not work? I cleared cache too... What I can't figure out is why it worked before??

Can you see it while logged in as Admin?  If not, then something is messed up.

Also... try adding the info to an admin account, or if already there then edit & save it.  Then look for it as Admin.
