Profile Matching Disabling

Hi all here,

feel a bit "stupid" posting this here; we need to disable Profile Matching, so we went on to do it in Admin Tools, but is it the only and better way to do it? Is it that simple or there is a catch somewhere?

I know it is a simple questions, but any answer would be very much appreciated.

hi there !!

goto admin/settings/advanced settings...in there click the "Matches" drop down arrow to see and change the values to turn off matching system.

in admin/builders/profile fields you can see how the matching is used and can check to see if you have any setup in "advanced"  for example if you use the "Looking for" then its setting for Matches is 30% and its "sister" is "Sex" with a value if 15%....if you set all your profile fields to -Not Set- then you should have a match free site.

I set "Send a cupid mail.." to 200 just in case there are any pendings
