Profile Search by State

Setting up a new site and all of our members are going to be in the US. We need to be able to search based on States not just country. How can we do this? 

Proceed to [admin panel -> builders -> profile fields -> search] and put the States field on your search forms.

you can also Proceed to [admin panel -> builders -> predefined values and remove all countries but the US ....

so the country drop down in modules will only show the US.

I ended up just creating a new profile field for State as a drop down selection and then also added it to the search. Seems to be working pretty well so far.
