Profile photos not visible in profile

Some other webmaster attended me on the following problem,

If a new user upload a profile photo in join form, this is not visible anywhere, Yes only in admin-photomodule, have actived it, but no photo
If you try after to upload a photo in the profile, the same is happening. 

We have test this from 2 servers in the country and on different installations and themes. 
Also in a standard installation. 

Some other has this problem?

Do you mean you don't see it as an avatar? Have you installed the avatar module?

Yes avatar module is installed. You see the avatar in the memberlist and block, but not in the profile page.

This is a stab in the dark. Anything to do with the caching of images? In administration ensure you have "Enable cache for images" switched off in Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Template.

I am having the same problem. My site used to display member photos (and avatar) with no problem but now NONE of the photos display, thumbnails or avatars. For some reason, just today, one new member has got the thumbnail to work, but nothing else - which makes it all the more confusing.

When I go in via the admin panel and photo module, I can see all these pictures fine.

Can someone please look into this as a matter of urgency?
