Profile status after editing profile information

Hi all,

I tried to search this forum and google for an answer but I found nothing useful, hope you can help me.

I do not want profile status to change if user updates or upload profile information and photos. Right now, I'm always receiving this annoying email regarding profile re-activation.

How can I solve this?

Thank you all in advance,

Riccardo

Hi,

You will need to login to your admin panel. Go to Settings -> Moderation Settings

Tick the Checkbox's for the four items that begin with "Do not change profile status after..."
(The four boxes should have checkmarks in them.)

This should solve your problem !!

Hi,

tnx for your reply, but I already got all those 4 checked (I actually got the first 5 checked), that's why I can't get why Dolphin keeps on emailing users who update their profile info r a photo.

In case you got some other ideas,

tnx

Rik

I have a problem with this too - I noticed that activity on my site was dropping,

It turned out that most of my members profile statuses had changed to 'approval' when they tried to upload a photo - whats more the status changed in mid upload - so that the photo they had tried to upload was rejected as well as shutting them out of the site.

I think this may have lost me some members.

My question is.

If the 'do not update status boxes aren't checked - what is supposed to occur?

Is a members profile status supposed to be suspended every time that they change something?

How is this usefull?
