Hi
I installed the latest dolphin, but the profiles is not showing, everything else works but the view profile there is just an empty page.
The requested URL /Pockets was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Not sure what is going on here I have never encountered this before and the search on this forum doesn't seem to give any answers as to what is happening.

I reinstalled the site just in the off chance I have perhaps done something different, but the profiles, forum, ect still don't show. |
I am also facing problems in Add new post..I am not able to post. |
nothing is working at all, maybe its permissions or something |
this is hard, can anyone help. I have installed dolphin on countless occasions, this is the first time that I have encountered this problem |
so i uninstalled the dolphin and installed via sofalusious and the profiles now work, unfortunately there are absolutely NO modules to install, non at all. yes the profiles work but the mods, well for some reason there are no included in the instillation package. so i can't win either way. Either i install manually and have no forums or profiles or i install via cpanal and have no modules what so ever :| a bit of help would be great right about now. can i get the modules individually??? |
Usually when you try to go to a profile using site-domain/User-Name and get a 404 it is due to the permalinks. To check, you can try visiting using the member's ID.
If for some reason the .htaccess file is missing, then permalinks will stop working.

omg i am being driven mad by this version of dolphin. Now the cover changer for profiles just links straight back to the home page instead of giving the thing to select a new cover. :( what is wrong with this, is this version not stable and i should go back to the previous version? |
Version 7.3 is as stable as any version; there may be bugs but the programme installs and runs fine.
When I see someone having such problems its indicates problems with the installation or server.

I'm assuming you had a previous version.
If you did, did you make a back-up of your site before the troubles started?
If so, roll it back. Maybe play around a while with everything working. Breathe deeply and move forward on your next attempt; following upgrade notes properly.
I finally got mine to work on the third attempt. Most of the problems were due to third-party modules.
