Promo Images

Hey, I've searched all over the internet and can't find anything on this :/

I am trying to replace the promo images with my own, i simply deleted the old ones from the admin panel and then uploaded my images however now there are the image error boxes (in safari a blue box with an x in it, ie is a red x i think, etc) where the old images were, so it looks like it just deleted the images, and not the promo box's requirement of the images. How can I fix this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Try clearing the /cache/ (except for the .htaccess file) and /cache_public/ directories.

I've already done that a couple times, but not in the last attempt to fix it so let me try real quick, thanks for the quick response!

No joy, in addition to that I'd like to edit the images to redirect to various pages instead of the index page, but lets try to take it a step at a time :P any ideas?

If you watch the promo image slide show, the ones that are deleted are still there there is just no picture, just whiteness and an x in the middle

You might want to try clearing your browser's cache.

It didn't work, however I'm only having the issue in safari; chrome, ie and firefox are just fine now :/
