Public Messages

I am trying to create a public message board, not a forum. I want it to work like http://www.floort.com. I want members to be able to post an opinion in a particular category and have other members comment on it. Is this possible with Dolphin? Is there a plugin or extension for it? I don't need the private messaging. This is public messaging.

Well, not sure if there's a mod for it.  I'm thinking you could make each "floort" a blog, and do some coding to embed a related poll into each blog.

I don't believe it's something Dolphin will handle out-of-the-box.  But it might not be too difficult either, if you're somewhat comfortable with PHP.
