RC2 running cool should I install D7 Final?

That is my question to you?

"RC2 running cool should I install D7 Final?"

It's taken my 6 weeks to get my site running the way I want it am I at a disadvantage not installing D7 Final?

Since there were several fixes done since RC2, I would suggest it. However, this is totally your decision if you choose not to. You may run into issues when trying to update to updated versions (ex. 7.0.1, etc.) later on though.

How are you going to do it?  Now or in the future.  There was no upgrade script for RC2, and the databases don't even match that much.   For Zarcon to say you may run into "issues" is a bit of an understatement.    I would start working on your upgrade plan immediately before your members generate much more content.   Good luck.

Yeah, it's a tricky one.

The backup doesn't work in my version - it says that SQL went away (or something like that)

It works if I do it from CPanel though.

I am thinking of install D7 Final on a sub domain to test..
