RMS - Delayed and out of sync - Fixes?

Hello everyone,

Ok, after quite a time getting this to work, I got the newest version of RMS to work on a Microsoft IIS server.

It connects, and does function, however, the video is incredibly out of sync, and the audio is VERY delayed.

The server RMS is on is dedicated for this only... and has no other sites on it.  The bandwidth available to the machine is more than adequate, so it isn't a network issue, my guess either configuration issue or a poorly functioning script?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

You can try it out at http://www.theblackvault.com, if need be.

Any feedback? I really need help on this :(

I would have to say that it depends on your RMS server

what are the RMS server specifications?

Your host could have you on a shared RMS, which could cause these issues.

As I mentioned in the first post, "The server RMS is on is dedicated for this only... and has no other sites on it."  So I am not on a shared server.

I followed the instructions to specifically.  It works, and functions, my question is why is it so grossly out of sync?

The OS of the dedicated server is Win. 2003... has a few gigs of RAM... and plenty of HDD.  So again, what can I change to potentially fix this?

Can anyone tell me if the delay is normal... or if I may have the server setup wrong?  There is no bandwidth problem, and the server is dedicated, so I could use any suggestions.

I hate to keep reviving this topic, but I really need help here.  :(

The vast majority of the people here are using Linux so we have no idea what's normal for a Windows server.. I can tell you on a Linux server a 1 or 2 second delay is normal.
