RMS and Hookie 7.0 RC on a local machine?

Is it possible to run Dolphin and RMS on one local machine for testing purposes?

I want to learn more about Hookie 7.0 RC on my local testing machine at home. My machine has a 2.8 Ghz Celeron, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB harddrive. The OS is Denian Lenny with all the system requirements for Dolphin including Java for RMS. The webserver is Apache2, MySQL 5+, PHP 5 ....

I read the posts of other users testing Hookie 7.0RC on a local machine. So, I guess, it should be possible, if the system has all the requirements....

What about in connection with the proposed RMS for Hookie 7.0 RC?

Thnx in advance! Cool

You would also have to install RED5 or flash server.

Hi greemeanie,

thnx for your reply!

Isn`t RMS (Ray Media Server) based on Red5 0.9 Beta, so RMS is a "flash media server"? When I install the proposed RMS package  for Hookie 7.0 RC2 on my local machine, this should be okay?

Thnx again....

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
