RMS and video

Is RMS needed for video upload to work properly.  I am thinking RMS is ONLY needed for the flash modules listed in the admin 'flash modules' section.

I have never been able to get videos to upload.  The page shows progress bar.  States upload completed, THEN shows

VIDEO UPLOAD ERROR.  not very helpful error message.  Reminds me of Microsoft :).

No RMS is not needed for video uploads. Some things to check are:

ffmpeg permissions - should be 777

Cron jobs setup properly

File size for uploads set high enough

Shell_Exec enabled in PHP on your host

POPEN enabled in PHP on your host

Just to name a few...
