RSS Feed Not Working

I setup everything for my RSS feed, but it's still just spinning.  I asked this on another thread but the thread was regarding another challenge I'm having so I figured it would be best to separate them.  Could this be do to not having the RMS yet?

Thanks in advance,

Russell =)

OK, so I added the php.ini and also contacted my hosting company.   This is what they said:

Hello,

You have to login to the Twitter API in order to retrieve that.

As you can see (or you might not, as it might be saved in your cache), you have to send a login for that feed. I see that login request being presented to me.

domain.com/social/get_rss_feed.php?ID=457&member=0

As you can see, the error here when viewing the source that it can't access it (it can connect, just not retrieve) due to no username/password being provided.

-------------------------------------------------

Can someone please translate this...lol

Even better yet, just tell me what i need to do to get this working =)

This is a twitter feed by the way if that helps at all.

Thanks in advance =)

You have to go to Twitter, Login and ask for an API Key.  This is NOT related to RMS, as that is a completely different item that has nothing to do with RSS.  RMS is for Streaming Video & Audio Messengers & Chatrooms basically.

Thanks for the clarification. =)

Now that we've got that figured out, do you know where to request the API?  I just keep reading about it, but haven't found anything and was thinking it would be like getting an api in facebook, or google or something... but so far no such luck.

It's been awhile since I did it, I believe it's the same place you grab the entire RSS Feed for Twitter.  Look around, hit the help function in Twitter and you should be able to find it.

OK, I think I found where it all is (http://apiwiki.twitter.com/Twitter-API-Documentation), but where do I input everything now?

Thanks again =)
