 Anyone know how to take an RSS feed and display it within a HTML block?
I know there are RSS blocks available in D, but I need to post an RSS within a specific section in a single group. If I use the RSS block, it then will show in all group view pages...
Must be a way to display the RSS feed within HTML? Not just a hyperlink, properly display the code. |
You can try this website, http://www.rssdog.com/ then go download this module http://www.boonex.com/m/Add_PHP_Block_to_Page_Builders_ (which is free) and use the php code generate in the block.
If you don't want to do all that then you can use the iframe version in your HTML block instead. Hope that helps :) Geminixx Lives! |
wont work. The block Im adding to is on a news page within a groups view (Modzzz Premium Groups) so I cant add a php block on page builder, otherwise it will show on every groups news page. I have access to the HTML on that individual page, but only using the edit option site side. If I add iframe in html, it just gets stripped out when I save. I cant find where this news block is on php myadmin to try to add it direct to the database either |
Ok, got it in phpmyadmin. iframe works great inserting straight into db
