Random display block for members in D7.0.8

Does anyone know if the mod for random display of members mod that prolazink still works in D7.0.8.?  I followed the instructions faithfully - I think, but it didn't work.  Added a new tab, but nothing happened.  I attached BxBaseIndexPageView.php, if anyone would be so kind as to take a look.

Just so I don't waste this post, does anyone know if it is possible to have two member blocks on the home page - one for random link this, and another for latest logged in?
