Rayz YouTube

I purchased Rayz YouTube module, but it keeps giving me this....

Installation of: Youtube Failed

-- Checking flash application status
-- -- Youtube flash application is not installed or disabled

I don't know why it's saying this, I followed the instructions provided to the letter. Can anyone provide some help?

My site is: http://www.theangrygrandpashow.com and I'm running Dolphin 7.

Thanks,

Mike

P.S. This appears to perhaps have something to do with not having the license, I received no license, where am I supposed to get this from?

should have been in your cilent area on the cart when you purchased the mod. else, contact rayzzz directly, and ask him for the license, also he may ask you for a Transaction ID where you paid for the mod. so might as well send that when you send the inquiry for the license #

I can't contact him, the site says I don't have the right kind of account to contact him. Do you have a way I can reach him that doesn't cost me more money?

Thanks, er, which user is him??? :) I got an email address from the paypal receipt but I don't know if that email is checked regularly, some people use a separate email for paypal. There was no license number in my cart, once the purchase was completed the cart was empty. I expected it to show up in my licenses on here but that's just the Dolphin license in there now. Well, here's hoping he gets that email and responds. Thanks for your assistance.

I got a reply, he asked for my Unity username. I don't know why he couldn't just give me my license key, I gave him my PayPal transaction # so he knows I paid for it. Now I have to wait another day or whatever for him to check and see if I'm on here? What's the point of that? I don't like paying for things and then being told I have to wait to actually use what I paid for. I'm afraid that if this is how this guy does business I probably won't do business with him again. If I give you the money, you give me the product or service I paid for, end of story.

im not sure i would jump the gun and blame the author, there are times when the cart simply dont work. Rayz is a good developer and he is in my experience responsive to support inquiries.

most possibly he needed your unity ID so he can make the adjustment to where the license is available via your dashboard, since he does not control unity, he does not control the cart, he would need to run this by the guys who manage this system.

Rayz is a worthy developer

Yep, got it all fixed, thanks and thanks to Ray. I'm very happy with all the services I've gotten from Dolphin and its developers. I see some people are complaining about how horrible the software is. They've clearly never used anything else that's out there. I've used every CMS from phpNuke to Joomla to you name it, I've tried video sites from phpMotion to ClipBucket, I've coded my own stuff, I've used all the wannabe social network clone scripts out there and not a single one of them comes close to being as tight as Dolphin or to offering as many out of the box features. I'll admit that the market for free and useful modules and templates for the software is almost non existent, which is a slight downer, but just the software out of the box is outstanding and does much more than anything else. So I'm cool with paying a little for the few addons I might want for it, so long as the price isn't too absurd. :)
