Around a year ago we changed to Real names (with a line space) in Members Block (not Nicknames)... but since upgrading to 7.0.5 the mod has been replaced. I can't find any record in my posts here or in searches on here relating to it! Does anyone have the right page and code to alter to display first and last names with a line space between? Many thanks! |
Anyone remember where this was originally posted? Thanks! |

Thanks for digging that out. It's not quite what I'm looking for though. I'm after something much simpler - to show the full name (with a space between names) in the Members Block. We did this last year and after various updates etc it has been lost and I can't find the original post on here. It's just swapping nicknames for full/real names with a line-space between first/last name. |
Someday, Someway. |
I actually hid that topic, because it kept eating hamsters.

Hmmm, yes "Access denied". I've got a few surplus hamsters that could do with a light cull if you fancy restoring access to the topic. |
I posted this several months back but I could not find it so I posted it again.

Yep, but what I'm looking for, which is in the hidden post (see above) is much simpler than that - all I need is to show real/full names in place of the nickname in the members block on the homepage :) Nothing more exciting. It has a <br> between it too. I just need that thread to be reopened so I can grab the code and note it down for when it's next overwritten by an update. |
I see you posted to this in April, so not sure if it helps. I use this and sounds similar to what your doing;

Aaah yes, well done, that's the one. Hmmm, yes unfortunately it only shows the first name if you shove a <br> in there to put the names on two lines. Shame! Thanks for completing my search though.
Magnussoft was referring to a post regarding usernames with spaces... not a good idea and understandably hidden. |
