Recompiling permalinks... error... any ideas?

When trying to uninstall a module (to install an updated version... recommended by the vendor) I receive this error:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uninstallation of: Spy Wall
Failed
-- Recompiling permalinks: An error occured. Contact with module's vendor
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any ideas? All permissions were reset following a server move this week, but I've corrected all that I can see in the Dolphin installation instructions (and using the Host Tools -> Permissions). But is there some file connected with permalinks that needs some changes?

HELP!

Thanks in advance.

The only thing i can think of is the cache file for the permalinks.

When you moved the site did the contents of the cache, cache_public and tmp directory get copied as well? If so, those directories should be emptied except for any .htaccess file they have.

Not just a quick answer to my problem, but a correct solution too - simple! Many thanks for the response Deano.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
