Recurring Payment Problem. NEED HELP!

I created a membership level called "Full Membership." Assigned it pricing and allowed actions in the Dolphin admin panel. That all worked great. It goes for 2 days at a penny. (I am testing things right now, making sure everything works, good thing I did.) I created a profile and upgraded it from "Standard" to "Full Membership." The first payment went great. When the 2 day period was over it charges the member again like it should (i clicked the recurring option). But here is where the problem is. The members membership still goes back to "Standard." It doesn't keep it at "Full Membership." It has rebilled me every two days but each time (expect for the first time) the memberships stays at "Standard". I can manually upgrade the membership, but that will be a pain when I get more members.

I am not sure what to do?

I am using paypal.

The process type is IPN

Also, I have canceled the membership but it still charges me. I can't figure out how to get dolphin/paypal (or where ever the problem is) to stop charging for the membership, even after it has been canceled.

Am I going to have to just cancel recurring billing under "Payments Setting" in the Dolphin Admin panel? Recurring billing is a very useful feature if I could get it to work right!

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks

I would also like to know the answers to these questions... is anyone from Boonex listening?

One suggestion is change the recurring setting so the member has to click upgrade when his or her membership is up you can also set this in PayPal. In admin > Settings > Email Templates you can set up the outgoing new member mail to spell out the terms to upgrading membership and you might want to think about expanding your membership to maybe a week, or call it  a 2-day "Trial Period"or something.

I am also testing the upgrade system - the payment goes through fine, but the member account is not upgraded

Also, no transactions are reflected for the member who should receive a commission.  You can see they have referred a member but after the new member has upgraded, there is nothing to show that.
