Redirect

Could someone please point me to where I will find a redirect that was installed to the sites landing page and an idea of what it might look like.

No I have a redirect in place for my splash page that someone else installed and I would like to change it. But I'm having trouble finding it.

 Wouldn't the first place be to ask the one that installed it?  We can't tell you where it is.

OK, look in the .htaccess 

Look in your cPanel, if used, for redirects.

There are many places to look.

Like GG said, ask the person that did it.

Of course if that was that simple you wouldn't be here.

I checked  in the c-panel, index.html, index.php, the splash page it's self and the header.html. And yes if I could find out from the one that installed it I would have done that first.  Seems he's to busy to get back to me.   I'm  guessing...

Is the splash page from a market download that the developer installed for you? If so, check the download for instructions, and see if the redirect code is in there. It's usually in either the .htaccess file or index.php.

It's probably in several locations.  There's probably a redirect to splash.php in index.php when not logged in, and there's probably something like

DirectoryIndex splash.php index.php

in the .htaccess file in sites root.

Thanks but no It's not from the market. It is someone I did meet in the Boonex market but no.   I've checked all the files mentioned by you guys but no luck yet.   I was hoping there might be something like a common placement for redirects.  Lol...  Guess not...
