Redirecting a domain to https://

I created a secured domain exp:  https://chat.world.com which works fine if I type the full URL, but if I type only chat.world.com, it will not go to https://chat.world.com, instead I get these folders {cgi-bin} and {media}.

I was wondering if this needs to be setup at the registrar level (@godaddy) or via the domain cPanel.. I also have full access to the server..
