Since I moved servers a while back thumbnails for videos have not been created. I fixed it now I think but now there are several hundred videos without thumbnails.
Is there a way to regenerate the thumbnails?

Anyone? Or possibly some pointers so I can write a script to do it? |
well the thumbnails should be there if you moved your site. could possibly be that you need to clear the cache, and cache_public and tmp directories.
but the thumbnails should still be there, and not there is no way to regenerate the thumbnails. the thumbs are generated as part of the upload cycle.
no need to get into the complexity of it, but just as a reference, you should be able to locate your thumbnails on your server. When a GIG is not enough --> Terabyte Dolphin Technical Support - Server Management and Support |
oops, long delay to reply.
when I moved the hosting I had some permission problem preventing the thumnails from being generated. So videos were uploaded and have no thumnails. Oh well, I feared there might be no built in method to regenerate them
Thanks for replying though. Regards |
