Registration Compulsory

Hi Everyone

Just want to know how can i make registration & Login compulsory in Dolphin 7. Basically i dont want unregistered people to read blogs or watever on the portal without registration.

This one is simple, but time consuming.

Just turn off all permissions for Non-Members.  Once this is done, it will tell your members to either login or join to view/participate.

Admin Panel > Settings > Membership Levels > Non-members

thanks I was able to get this done and its working....

related to the above !!! now when a non member tries to access the page and clicks blogs or anything he gets page access denied ...but is there any possibility that when he clicks blogs or nething instead of access denied he gets redirected to join page.

as it normally happens to me if i get access denied page i will think twice to click on 'join now' but if the page is redirected automatically to 'join now page' then i will simply fill up the details and join.

There's a guy around here who knows how to do it. You will have to send him a private message to give you the code in order to make the necessary modification.

If someone has a mod for this, I'll buy: if it is guest (not yet a member), instead of displaying Access Denied, display the invitation to join or log in.
