Replace Promo-Banner - need a alternate!!

sry. for my bad english... lets go:

i want replace the promo banner with a other nice slideshow-banner or something like that. 
i need 5-6 different pictures with a line for text in the pictures!

i have bought here a flash banner, but i have some problems. in the moment it doesnt works on my modded site. i have contact some people to fix it, but i must wait. so i am looking for alternate.

i dont like the orignal promo banner. we cant switch the pictures. (forward - back - stop , etc. )

what you use as other option? any suggestions ??

i have google for javaskripts, but many webmaster said i dont should use them... because many users have deactivate java(skripts) ?!  but what can i use??! what do you use? (please say not, you use the standard- promo)

 After messing around with so many options that do not work, i reverted back to the original promo and used HL's tip to hide promo from logged in members.

Administration>Settings>Basic Settings>Promo

From here you can choose whether to use the image reloader or custom html. You can also delete old banners and upload new ones (994x262 pixels).

Administration > Settings > Advanced Settings > Other.

From here you can change where the Promo banner redirects.

 wow... does this mean i could go to Admin>settings>advanced settings>other and insert html code that will pull a flash banner if I make one?

if this is the case I could write a flsh banner for aaaaaaaaa and he could store the swf on his server space and call it into the promo banner usin html code.

You would add the Flash banner from Administration > Settings > Basic Settings. The options in advanced settings are for changing the redirect links.

i wanted a different solution. i know dolphin since D6 .. and i know how to use it...
i just asking for promo-banner which looking great and can be integrate to dolphin.

ps: if you want you can delete the __promo_code__ from page_1.html and put your htmlcode to link your flash-promo-banner or your ajax-banner.. or what else.... ;-)
