Restrict username to lowercase??!

Hey everyone,

Upon registration, Is there any way of restricting the username to lower case letter?

Just out of curiosity, Why would you want to do that?

Notice the difference??!! The upper and lowercase link has the profile tabs (Profile, Info, Friends, Ads, Blog, Poll etc.)

the lowercase link doesn't have the default profile tabs.

 Ok. That's a new one on me. I have never noticed that before. I was always under the impression it didn't matter for usernames.

I would not count on that to continue to work. I consider that a bug. Case should not matter, and when it is discovered by boonex, it will be fixed.

I smell the distinct odor of a ticket coming on .....

Already fixed for 7.0.1. I found 2 tickets.

So i would not bother to force lowercase. It will not work in the next version. The bug has been fixed.
