SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host at Arvixe or is it....

since today I get SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. I'm with Arvixe and checking with them right now.

Does anyone get the same issue.

Furthermore, since I have installed the module and have send one newsletter to my members, I do not have any greetings in my ourbox for the last 3 days even though I send greetings.

Does anyone have the same problems?

Make sure smtp info. configured there is correct.

How is it configured to send email? smtp or sendmail or mail function?

yes of course i have this same problem i cant connect to my smtp mailer, which i have been lost for 2 days working on. can someone please help me out ?

Try setting the "server name or IP address" to "localhost" in the SMTP settings and see if that fixes it.
