SMTP Mailer - Not Overriding Default Sender Addre

Hi-

When I try to override the Default sender email address, the email arrives with teh smtp username email address.

Some email servers, allow to send mail only from currently authenticated email account. So you can't authenticate under one email account and send mail from another email account.

 

However if SMTP auth is off - this is possible.

 

I've tested on gmail, and gmail changed headers by placing 'from' email under different headers:

X-Google-Original-From: =?utf8?B?0JTQtdC70YzRhNC40L3QvtGB0YLRgNC+0LnQutCw?= <no-reply@mydomain.com>
Return-Path: no-reply@mydomain.com
