Can someone explain what "Total security impact threshold to send report" and "Total security impact threshold to send report and block aggressor" mean? Those entries are so mind-numbingly vague, it's not clear either what they're for or what the numbers mean. |

Those are the levels at which your site will be rendered totally useless by PHPIDS, by stopping somone from comandeering your server through malicious use of things like the <font> tag.... or <p> tag. PHPIDS is a security feature which, when enabled, cannot tell the difference between a harmless blog post and an sql injection attack. Minus (-1) for both settings disables PHPIDS entirely, and is the setting I would recommend. My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
