Send Invites/befriend

I have a search function set up on my site and I would like to see if anyone can help me with a function I would like to add. After the user does his/her search I would like the member to be able to send out an invite to all members that are the results of his/her search. Like send out a message/invite to an event in the area. Also would like the user doing the search to be able to befriend all the members from their search. Can anyone help with this?
