Set up of multiple forums - Need your help

Hello,

I am a little bit confused on how to setup my site.

I have activated "Groups" some of them will require a forum and some don't.

I have activated the "Orca Forum" module and created a forum for each "Groups" that requires a forum.

When I access a group there's already a tab "Forum" (even if I don't need a forum for certain groups)

I noticed the forums I have created from the Orca module and the one from the Groups are not linked...

Can someone tell me how is the best way to approach this.

Thank you :)

OK, I think the best way to approach this is through editing the navigation menu to remove the 'Group Forum' link and then adding a link to the Groups Forum in its description box.

Do this by going to Admin Panel > Builders > Navigation Menu.

Scroll Across to the red [Groups] box on the right hand side, then drag the 'Group View Forum' link to the box of unused links at the bottom. This will remove the forum link in all your groups.

For those groups that you want to link to a forum for, go in to that forum and find its Permalink on the right hand side, or cut and paste it from your browser bar, and then insert a link e.g. "View Forum" in its description box.

Ok we will think about add option for show or not  forums into groups!

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first

Forums and Groups are already "linked", so after group creation - forum topic is created automatically too.

If you don't need it, just remove link to forum as amistley described.

Thank you for the replies... my only issue... I've messed up something... I click to uninstall the module "Orca Forum" and I have had an error message because blogs is using the application.... Even if it's not uninstall... When I go to the forum I see things like this: [L[Recent Topics]]

I clicked recompile the language... still get this issue :(

Thank you for helping out...

Most probably that it is permissions problem. There are a lot of threads on the forum regarding this. Please try to search for it.
