Setting up Multiple RMS's

Hi All,

I have one Dolph -Ray - Adfree installed - 6.1 and RMS 3.5.1 installed and working.

I have another domain for which I have Dolph running, would like to get the AV to work on that one as well. I read in the "http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/#topic/Free-RMS-won-t-connect.htm" that you need to have 2 RMS's and 2 JRE's installed.

Since it appears I cannot share the RMS - obviously, since I cannot get the second install to connect to the RMS.

What is the best procedure for getting the second RMS and JRE's setup so that it will not affect the other install?

Sammy, Dosdawg, Cyberxing - What did you do to get multiple installs working correctly while not hosing other installs?

This is on a Unix OS - Dedicated Server

Anyone want to jump in here?

1. post question in correct forum to get prompt answer. (Ray section)

2. if both your sites use same IP address and same version of Dolphin you can use 1 RMS - and make changes only in access.dat file

3. if your sites use different IP addresses or different versions of Ray

You need to use different ports

conf/red5.properties (change port 1935 to one you want to use)
And in all widgets - where you are entering your IP address - you need to add just after IP :port number
for example 0.0.0.0:0000

Sorry - My bad for not putting this question in the right forum.

I am running the same verisons of everything in Dolphin and RMS.

I had added the domain to the access.dat file.

What i did not do was restart the RMS. As soon, as I did that, it worked.
