Settings wont save

If i change the copyright info it will save and show right for a few hrs and then it goes back to saying the default your company. Also other changes are not saving? i have contacted my host on this issue and they have said that all the settings Boonex told me had to be set are set.

There has to be a way to make all these changes save and stay saved. I don't get it. Wondering if i may have installed D7 RC too prematurely or if i have a simple settings issue or something. I also went and made a few edits in the language file and those settings saved for a few hrs as well and then went right back to original settings. Maybe i am missing something. Can anyone help?

How you make these changes ?

If you go into your Admin Panel, click Settings > Language Settings. Under "Manage Keys" type in copyright and hit enter. Click EDIT and remove the "Your Company" and replace it with your site name. Click save and that should work. I haven't had mine change since I did it (when RC1 first come out).

tyvm that helped i was going into the language file in langs in my root and it wasnt saving. things seem to be running very smoothly with d7rc1 now i reinstalled and used the skip option.

Possible something wrong with writing new info to langs/lang-en.php file (possible in levels access) but in this case you can't save correct any values in language file at all. Also don't forget - if u have enabled cache for template then u should clear cache_public directory after lang file editing.
