Shell_exec & Popen

Shell_exec = On and Popen = On, place in php.ini.

Is the above the correct way to do this?

According to Zarcon in

that's the way to do it.

They are functions that are found in the disabled_functions section of the system php.ini file.

They cannot be turned on the way you specified.

They would have to be removed from the disabled_functions list.

So unless you have your own server or VPS you can't do that. A person using shared hosting would need to call their host for that.

Thanks Deano!

I do have my own VPS and I have done as you suggested.

All the best,

Stuart
